Reviews
Rye Dallas is a conservative, and romantic restaurant. This review was written in prospective of the price point.
Upon arrival, be prepared to find parking, as there is no valet or reserved lot, a big no no for the price point. The food was sophisticated, yet complicated for a beginner’s palate. For the price point, the portion sizes could be bigger. We could tell that a lot of thought went into the taste and presentation of the dishes.
The Food is served in the order that it appears on the menu. The ambience was definitely there. Fancy, yet rustic. You can wow a date with this place, but be ready to drop a lot of money. Each dish is only enough to feed 1 person. So be ready to order double if your not trying to by a pizza from up the street right after.
The wait staff was amazing. Great place if you’re trying to impress your rich and fancy friends.
We were the only ones here for brunch and enjoyed the overall decor. We both had mimosas which were okay if not a little light. For brunch we ordered the fried chicken and gravy as well as the Benedict. Both were somewhat underwhelming . The benedict lacked much flavor and the fried chicken was overwhelmingly spicy. Be aware portion size are on the smaller size so order accordingly. We came down on a Saturday and parking was a challenge so come early.
Had an exceptional dinner at Rye! Daegan guided us through a wonderful 7 course dinner. The unique flavors in each dish were a delightful surprise. The culinary experience was top-notch, and the ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had been excited to try this place for a while. Stopped by for an early dinner/happy hour. It is a cute little place with great service. A couple of the dishes were standouts. I think overall, though most looked better than they tasted. The best item was the Pork Belly Taco from the happy menu. The navajo bread and spread was fun and good for happy hour price, but probably not worth regular price. The Icelandic hot dog was interesting and a fun bit. Honestly, slightly disappointed in everything else. The pork lollipops were a bit dry and felt like they were missing something. Rabbit Ravioli wasn't anything special. The daiquiri was somehow tart and not at all sweet. Fun place, hit or miss on food.
Excellent creative food in a fun, casual, and welcoming environment. We loved the chef’s tasting w wine pairings. Gregory knows his wines! Everything was great but I really loved the octopus monkfish curry and the duck dish with pistachio - release the quack-en! Biggest bourbon collection I have seen and Heather will help you create a flight!

- One of the most unique food experiences I’ve ever had! Located in the heart of lower Greenville, I highly recommend this place if you’re open to trying unique combination of flavors.
- The French toast was phenomenal! I thought it was oddly squishy in some parts of the toast but I’m sure it added to the layered textures. The ube cream was SO good and just aesthetically pleasing. I would recommend asking them what their special French toast of the day is beforehand.
- The tostada is clearly not a traditional Mexican tostada BUT it was so good! It was a blue corn tortilla underneath and like cheese melted on top to a crisp? And then the sauces and flavors altogether just worked! The tostada was a very interesting food experience for sure and I also recommend it.
- Mimosas were a vibe in these cute cups! Overall, service was phenomenal, this place is so underrated! You don’t need a reservation for a Saturday brunch. I’m not sure if you’ll need one but the reviews on Google are positive too! Rye is so underrated but I would definitely come back.
Me and my wife have been looking forward to eating at Rye after getting a taste of it next door at Apothecary. We started with cocktails which were fine, and dined on 3 appetizers 4 entrees(these entrees are tapas sized). The food had nice flavor but unfortunately I was not blown away by any of the courses. We also tried their ice cream for desert, which was delicious. The service was great, but overall a little let down by the meal. 6.5/10
The service was excellent. They have experimental seasonal menus and I was having a hard time choosing. I love my French toast and tasted some of my friends quiche and it was probably the best I have ever had
